AcidForgeProductions: A Saints Row IV Review
Okay I had the time to play saints row IV this week and personally I was disappointed. I know how many of you though it was great but here is what I found while comparing IV to 3 and 2. If you were to put the games in chronological order without knowing which game was III, II, or IV you'd find that it would be out of order. While playing saints row 2 I quickly decided to try four. I realized that 2 and four had the almost identical textures. For me it looked as if they made saints row IV first then made three. The lighting is identical and much of the physics is too. It may seem like its different only because its set in steelport but seriously it's like they got lazy. I will admit the humor is great the story is crazy and well suited for the game but the game soon feels like its a left over add on. Much like far cry 3 blood dragon it would have been much better as a ADDON than as a standalone game.
AcidForgeProductions Presents: 1001 Moments in Gaming
Okay so i just want to bring to lite an new project I'm starting, its a thing Ive been logging to do for quiet a while its 1001 of the funniest and most memorable gaming moments for me and others out there. Because I'm new to this if anyone wants to help contribute they can send me a comment with the game and the moment and ill add your name in and the number. Because 1001 is a big number i expect it will take a hell of a long time. also Ive got a PlayStation so id love it if others who have xbox and wii could help find moments... (Im a Sony fan all the way but it doesn't mean i hate xbox).
AcidForgeProductions Presents: Battlefield 4
Okay to start the website off i decided to go ahead and write a reveiw on the game battlefield 4 made by dice and ea. After playing for a few hours ive got my own conclusions. Here are some of the things i found in battlefield that caused me to be well disappointed.
To draw a picture in your brain in battlefield 3 and even bad company the crew you had had almost a person connection to the player. When you play a game in first person you expect the main charactor be the voice of reason and like battlefield 3 your charactor always had something to say. now battlefield 4 the seargent or your charactor is the soap in call of duty 4 mw the silent and well mute charator. i cant remember how weird it felt to play call of duty 4 mw where you felt like a hollow shell. there is a sense of no life in them... Call me crazy but thats what drives me mad.
The game overall has great graphics if not for the frostbite 3 id just assumed it be a battlefeild 3 game. A few minor issues involve that the game is a stretch on current gen consoles. since im a sony fan ill go ahead and say the ps3 version is not worth it... the game glitches maps take longer to load, the scenery lags and seems to have no detail... when it came to the guns though it is clear that there textures seemed to be downgraded much to fit current gen consoles. Many times i rememeber having to stop because my console would make a queer noise. Dont get me wrong its got its ups and downs.
Then there is the great... Battlefield 4 has multiple new features that blew me away. the fact is that unlike call off duty battlefield has always gone the extra mile towards a realistic battlefield. the guns especiacally the light machine guns when the gun in out of ammo call of duty would show the cartridge removed with the belt still full verse battlefield would actually have an empty clip. i give them points for that. What may seem minisual battlefield also simulates the legs which is more than i can say for call of duty. i dont like being a floating torso.
Over all i would suggest to those who really want the expirence wait to buy it for the next gen consoles just to be safe. Also i would also like to say that battlefield 4 is your game of choice if your like me want a game not like call of duty where multiplayer is the entire point of playing.
